Decided I'd lend you a quick hand. Took a crappy image and added up to it. Spend about 5 minutes max so it isn't a master piece.

Think that overcomes the boredom just by accenting the bike shroud shape. Hope it helps.

Here is the image I used, and then I made the slight adjustment towards the bottom left in order to make it look a little more flashy.

MUCH better. Just fix the bottom bolt hole, add some variation to the tone of the shading, maybe take the left hand middle highlights up a little bit. Looks kind of cartoonish somehow.

id say its a little better ur sharp edges look alrightbut some things shouldnt be so sharp and need to be blurred ill try and pust some of my shadings now tht i got gimp

argh! i went from one extreme to the other! too much blur, now too sharp. haha. i agree DDMX the middle really doesn't fit right with the rest...ill fix it all. im bound to get it right some time.
ill wait until I'm ready to post a skin before i show the shading again...
