Seriously though, that bike is starting to get pretty good. Suspension and chassis is still way behind a proper bike, and cost is 12k in the US. I'd love to have a go on one though. Or test one out in a game....
Damn, weird you brought this up! I actually got to ride one of these at a local shop as a "show" at an expo kinda thing and got paid for the day as if I worked for the shop...was a win win for me haha. It was like 2 years ago though, looked much different.
It actually didnt feel too bad. The worse part about it I thought were the brakes. Throttle response is AWESOME, the power is right there and it feels way different than anything I've ever ridden because its so instant..but I liked it. I remember thinking give it another 5 years and these things will start catching on.
I have a photo from the day I rode it somewhere, lemme see if I can find it.

Yeh I know, I forgot to mention that the 30+ HP increase is probably insane! I remember the rep telling me the only bad part about them is the battery; they only have a certain guaranteed amount of charging cycles or something like that, and also the batteries are wayyy expensive so having multiple on-hand pretty much isn't possible unless you just won the lottery haha
DJ99X wrote:The website says you get 1600 hours of use out of the battery before the capacity drops below 80% of its max capacity. Which isn't bad at all.
Yea holy shit that's a damn long time! I can see a problem with re-sale though. Why would you buy a used one that you will have to buy a new battery for when you could get a new one for not to much more...
Maybe its just me but it will be a long ass time before I put 1000 hours into a motor. It doesn't see, like you will need to buy a new battery and I imagine used prices would be pretty high but the only way to know a resale is how much better the new year models are.

Pumaxcs would know better than I do.
these bikes are a good idea IMO, but I just cant imagine missing the sounds of a motor.
its kinda funny, all people and magazines write: "It has so much torque!" I dont wonder dudes, that chainwheel is huge!
wonder if we had to put 2 chains together to get more lenght
