FAMmx Supercross Compound [Release]

Post by mxr449 »

FAMmx SX Compound is finally finished. This is my first track creation and i'm pumped to finally release it.

The Compound consists of four supercross tracks, one having a bit of a motocross feel to it. I created some of the gradients in photoshop myself and used some gradients from the SX Jump Template by Checkerz and Wilson.

Here is a very short flyover of the tracks.

The Pro Action Spring Supercross Series presented by FAMmx Design hosted by MXS Central is starting this Thursday at 8pm est. There will be $630 in prizes for the 8 round series and I have created 5 of the 8 tracks alongside Tony Spinelli who designed the other 3. These tracks aren't the same tracks that will be in the series but they will be good to practice to get a feel for how my five rounds will ride. Check back soon on the Racing thread to hear more about the Spring Supercross Series.

Download includes
- FAMmx Compound - Free Ride (No Timing Gates)
- FAMmx Track 1
- FAMmx Track 2
- FAMmx Track 3
- FAMmx Track 4

Thanks to Checkerz and Wilson for their Jump Template. I used a lot of their jumps throughout each track. Awesome template and it was sick to have something like that to work with.

Also, for each model that is used, I grabbed a lot of different stuff from different tracks and i'm not exactly sure who did what. I wanted to thank each and everyone that creates models that give us the opportunity to make sick environments for our tracks.

Same goes for textures, not sure who made them but awesome work. I think the on/off dirt looks super good together.

A big thanks goes out to a ton of people that have tested and given their input on the track.

..and so many more. Thanks a lot and sorry I can't remember, it's been too long since the day I started this project.

This is a very well done compound. IMO it was fun and flowwing. My thoughts are on the environment was a typical compound look but overall 8/10

This compound is so nice! I love how there's signs showing where each track is, makes it have a cool feel off the start and overall it's very enjoyable. I wish the 4th track was a little longer though! Good job :D

Appreciate all of the comments. I will have to re upload the track sometime soon so it works for everyone online. I forgot to organize that statues like a goon and some people are having a hard time connecting to servers that has the compound on it. Sorry about that and i'll get it fixed asap.

Thanks again for all the comments.

Man I feel like I should just quit now while I'm still ahead...

Such an awesome track, wouldn't be surprised if you end up right up there with checkerz and motoboss
