And stability again just in case someone is looking. Tyler Crain
What stability do you use?
Like the way this setup feels, but little hard to control and wondering where you are it with it. I have tried anywhere from 10 to 50. Seems like 20 or less is where it needs to be. Anything higher is actually harder! Kinda weird.
Justin, what makes the stability is the advanced stability setup.
I mean, if you put 10 stability, it automatically changes the advnced stability setup and puts something like 10
And if u put 100, it changes the advanced stability to a so hard setup.
So if you put 100 stab, and after u go to advanced stability setup and put all those tyler crain setups, will be exactly the same than if u put stability 0.
Hm... my bad english ftw hahha
hope u understood :S
justinarush wrote:Pretty sure you are wrong there!
If I put 100 stability and then go to advanced and enter the crain setup it is totally different than using 0 stability and entering those values.
It makes a huge difference!!!
At 100 you cant even turn the bike, even with crain setup entered afterwards!
IF you first put 100 stab, and after the tyler crains setups... it should be the same.
or at least, I heard it fromsomeone sometime ago.
Maybe ofcourse there is a difference beetwen 0 and 100 xD but i guess it's not from 20-50
LOL! I wasn't arguing...just relaying what I have tried and what it felt like. Maybe after I put in the setup I messed with stability bar, since I was going through various things to try. That would explain it.
I will try again tonight doing that and I am sure that is correct. After all......that makes a lot of sense! The stability bar is like your "novice" or lazy way to setup the bike I suppose.
BUT......then why do others post so many setups and say to use 15-20 stability with it, or 39, etc.......Tons of people talking about starting at 85 and working down to 10 (I guess they are just using stock setups?). So, then many don't understand what this bar really does I would think if this is true.
As soon as you change the advanced stability and then go back and increase/decrease the stability bar it changes back to default settings automatically. So the bar overrides any inputs made to the advanced stability and has nothing at all to do with it (presets as stated).
Basically, never mess with the bar and only change the advanced stability. Just leave bar at 0, doesn't matter once you have your own
Ah.....so much to learn, lol! That's a big help though, kept changing it without realizing it was changing back to default presets, thus making it feel drastically different and harder to control, duh!
