Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
Is there any chance that my school internet connection would be blocking my access to the server shack set up? I tried connecting and it just kept saying connecting. This might also be the problem with me not being able to host a server?
Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
In serverargs.txt there is an argument "--password xxxxxxx". You can change that to the password you choose. Then run the game with a parameter "--password xxxxxxx". Now it should be in admin mode when you connect.ShackAttack12 wrote:Quick question.... haven't figure it out in the 10 minutes ive been playing with it..... how do you submit admin commands???? it just says "unrecognized command"

Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
I had two servers running about an hour ago before i left for work....
I had Dannyboy test it out and he was already getting better pings to my server than he gets to the mxsim servers.
Im going to run 2 servers tonight to see how much load i can handle on my connection. Ill give everyone the details later.

Instead of running the application, launch it in command prompt by calling up the files.

First, go navigate to where your stuff is..... then copy the address thats listed in the toolbar.... its should be C:\blahblahblah\blahblahblah\gemma\whatever....
The go into command prompt, first type "cd", hit spacebar, then right click and hit paste...... it should paste your address line that you just copied before..... then hit enter....
This tells command prompt to do the actions you give it only in this spot....

I keep getting WSAECONNRESET when I try my IP address, but works fine when I try my LAN IP address. We just tried opening up the 19800 port on our router, but still no luck. What else could be stopping this from working?

I use Zonealarm as my firewall, so windows firewall isnt activated. And I'm pretty sure I have it set up properly
