TCP ports can be blocked separately for incoming or outgoing, so port 80 could be blocked one way but not the other.DJ wrote:Meh, I'll try again on Saturday, I think it has something to do with severely capped speed. I tested for open ports on a website, didn't even say 80 was open, and thats always open because of the net.

Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
I got things running pretty good JLV.....
Some suggestions...
As an admin in the game, i would like to be able to change:
1. to a specific track, instead of flipping through the tracks one by one. Something like "server, track locust" would be cool.
2. lap count (or to switch to a time race), which would take effect after restart.
3. time delay to switch tracks in the cycle.

I'll do that. If you just want a specific track to have a different format, you can set that individually for each track already. E.g.
--minutes 0 --laps 5
alcrest.trackinfo
--minutes 15 --laps 2
locust.trackinfo
That would set 5 lap motos for alcrest and 15m + 2 laps for locust.

Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
This is more of a client request, but can you please make it so we can save a list of server addresses. Its hard when you want to switch between servers, and you cant remember the IP address.

-when tape this Server commands: (server, nexttrack) ==> I don't see the list of the track in-game.

Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
I remember JLV used a nohup command, which stopped it shutting down when you logged off. Not sure what the equivalent is for windows though
Re: mxserver-2009-05-05
That's for when you log off on unix. It will send a SIGHUP signal to all your processes which will kill them unless you've blocked it with nohup.
This is probably windows giving a socket error that I should be ignoring. I have to look into it.

OK, my net has returned to normal, 19800 UDP port has been forwarded to me, and Zonealarm is set to trust mxserver.exe. Still getting the WSAECONNRESET message. Can you think of anything else?
