Re: 2013 Race Factory Gaming Nationals
"What if you don't show up and someone who could possible be there doesn't get to race?"
Alternates.
Under the rider list there's a "reserve" for qualified riders, and under if (For the amount of "reserves", there's an alternate available). If the rider shows up, the alternate packs his bags (like real life), if that rider makes it to the line in time, then he's fine. I don't know if this is "too much" work for you guys to implement into it, but it's not a bad idea. I mean, I will be home around 6:20.. I get off work right when UIDs are grabbed.

It's just "server, spec" if you're doing it to yourself. Forcespec is for a marshall to essentially lock a rider out of the moto.

I think the best bet would be a second UID grab, right at the end of 250 Heat 2. I'm not really sure how much of a hassle that would be though.Ddavis wrote:"What if you don't show up and someone who could possible be there doesn't get to race?"

That would put 50% or more people out of a series to race. It already ends at like 11pm to 12am here. Too late for most people.

If we could somehow link UID grab and our phones, that would be a game changer. If you're 5 minutes late but know you can race, why not be able to make sure that you do through your phone. Damn

Nobody would abuse that system at all.
