Just under a week ago Perth played host to a stunning battle which has shaped the lites class into a true title fight coming into the penultimate round of the series.
Last weeks winner Hunter Root took a flag to flag victory whilst a 20 rider battle for 2nd place on lap 2-5 saw title fighter Byron Downen go from last to 2nd
after and epic battle with Ryan Mahan.

In the Pro Open class Alexis Leclair proved why he is points leader as he answered back to the Patersons attack on the series by taking the win in a truly dominating fashion.
The race however was not without conflict as early race leader Andrew Wood was running into all kinds of problems with lap traffic.

As we go into the 2nd last round of the series we are expecting to see a massive head clash between Clay Alfrey and Byron Downen as Byrons aggressive pursuit to the front of the pack
left Alfrey on the ground at RaceTech Stadium.

We also expect to see a title fight between Skyler Kramer and Ivan Madina in the AM class who over the whole series have been the most consistent with only one win between the 2 of them.

I like Markhams tracks, they just seem to have more of a 450 feel to them. Spaced out bigger than normal, and coming from a 250 rider this track isnt all that fun on a 250. But its fun on a 450 because you can hit the actual lines. I'm not complaining nor saying this track sucks. It's a good track, it just favors the 450 more.
If you enjoy what I make, donate to the cause 8) It's very much appreciated!!

Honestly I think it helps. I have not ridden a track on a 250 but hell the 250's should not be hitting the same lines us 450's are hitting anyways. The change up in lines only helps everything spread out and gives the 450 an advantage. (Which they should have)

Have yet to ride the track but dam I can not wait to get home and rip it.

The thing with Markham's tracks is, is you can get some gnarly seatbounces if you get it just right. I actually got in TS and mobbed the track for a bit and the little bikes were pretty much doing the same lines.. Well the faster guys on on 250's because some of the jumps were absolute hucks. Makes it fun though.
