i saw few forums before which had an option to add reputation to someone
near their name there would be - / + and you could click + for 1 rep up and - would be for 1 rep down and you could vote on the same person only once and also near their name there would be a number of reputation so if the person has 5+ reputation and someone will click on the - sign it will become 4+ and if someone has 0 rep and someone will vote - then this person will be left with 1-
This is a cool thing to have on this forum to see who is liked and who not, hope you understood my idea

agree with august...
because the mentality of this forum is kinda "bring people down as much as they can", make something good (release,screenshot,whatever...) and make something bad and you will se the difference , theres always more people commenting just to destroy you

Re: Forum Reputation suggestion
Any sort of forum rating is normally a bad idea, and a forum of this caliber anything that rates people will go horribly wrong.

If anyone cares about what people think of them on here I'd be worried.

How did you get the forum reputation overlay on your avatar?JT43 wrote:My reputation would be through the roof

bumping this because I was thinking about this this morning. Maybe only have a +1 such that you can really only interact positively. Another racing community I'm a part of uses a system like this and it works pretty well. Their reputation is displayed under their post count and kinda serves as a metric of how much they contribute to a community more so than how well they're liked.
Here's an example of what that looks like:
(there was more to that post that I cropped out that got it appreciated)
