Re: Kawasaki or KTM?
Oh Byron... Rev limiter does very little to your oil unless you have something seriously wrong.

Go sit on them at your local dealer and whichever feels most comfy, buy that. Aren't KTM parts more expensive than Kawi, tho?

You want a better engine, go kawi. If you want better suspension, brakes, and quality, go the KTM.

I've noticed that the ktm's seem to show signs of wear and tear just from riding them, a lot sooner than the japanese bikes do.
I don't know what it is but they just seem to wear out in a quicker time

From factory the Ktm's are quality, but yes i do agree with this. i have a crf250r, and my brother has a ktm 350 and ive done 2X more work on my bike and his has shown more wear over time, and both done very similar riding.Ohagan75 wrote:I've noticed that the ktm's seem to show signs of wear and tear just from riding them, a lot sooner than the japanese bikes do.

You are the first person I've ever heard brag about KTM brakes.Jsemmens1997 wrote:You want a better engine, go kawi. If you want better suspension, brakes, and quality, go the KTM.

Re: Kawasaki or KTM?
The KTM makes way more power. 4CS on the 15 KTM's is mediocre, but so is the kawi's air shit shit. The brembos on KTM's can't be beat by any stock bike though......Jsemmens1997 wrote:You want a better engine, go kawi. If you want better suspension, brakes, and quality, go the KTM.
I vote KTM **IF YOU'RE COMFORTABLE ON IT** if not, forget it.
