Whats your pc?
Re: Whats your pc?
Now I will buy them all for $265, when you get tired of losing I will sell them to you for $300!
I really want to build a crazy case mod/hard line fully water cooled build but...I don't have a need for another computer and I don't want to do it to the computer I use for work. So first step will be inventing a use for it, then I can build it.

Put in a CoolerMaster SickleFlow 120mm Blue LED fan in my front panel an hour ago, the LED doesn't really get seen too much, quite nice actually. Temperature seems to stay at around 35C. Realized that I only had 1 fan in the case, so I bought 1 intake fans as well :p

I would love to do a hardline build as they look so freaking sweet but the fitting cost is more than I can afford. I really want to make a "console killer" mod where you take an old console, I was thinking PS2 or PS3/360, and putting a complete ITX PC in one. I've seen one for a PS2 and two for a N64 and look really cool.

Looks like the prices are about the same as regular compression fittings for soft tubing. Sucks that Frozen CPU looks to be gone for a while if not forever. Maybe someone will sell off their inventory cheap IDK.Pumaxcs wrote:SMR 510RR wrote:Now I will buy them all for $265, when you get tired of losing I will sell them to you for $300!

Re: Whats your pc?
I doubt that the company will last. I feel that with the situation that Mark from FCPU, he won't sell anything anytime soon. The company is worth a few million dollars and I think that he would try to rebuild the company, and not sell anything. But, with all of the money that the people who are unaware of the situation are paying, they will eventually file a claim with their banks and FCPU will be forced into bankruptcy. I personally see them never rebuilding. Maybe PerformancePCs will buy them over as they seem to be the only other decent liquid cooling supplier out there, but I've read reviews about them and they aren't the best out there. From the "Worlds Best Liquid Cooling Parts Supplier", I would expect better reviews...SMR 510RR wrote:Looks like the prices are about the same as regular compression fittings for soft tubing. Yea Frozen seemed to be the whole package, good selection, good prices, and good customer service. Unfortunately Performance has the first 2 of those but not the 3rd, arguably the most important one.
Sort of strange that both of them are based on the east coast. I am kinda hoping a west coast operation opens up sometime. Its kinda weird that I live in the silicon valley and can't find water cooling parts anywhere except ordering from NY or FL.

Re: Whats your pc?
I had recently been buying all my things from FCPU so it is a bummer to hear about them going down. Did they ever make a statement about what happened?
Had to more escape me today. At this rate I'll be selling my 780 and get a GTX1000.

Re: Whats your pc?
I don't think we will ever know the whole story. Seems like it would be a good story too hahaha.
Water cooling is such a niche market but if newegg picked up the most popular stuff (ek everything basically) that would be ideal for me. The warehouse most of my orders come from is like 2 days by eggsaver shipping.

Re: Whats your pc?
I have a warehouse that is about a 3 hour drive so its the same for me. If NewEgg ever did watercooling would be best case scenario for me but most likely kill the small WC only stores.
Re: Whats your pc?
WHY IS IT WHEN I DECIDED TO BUY 780'S THE PRICE INFLATES OVER $70?!
When I started bidding most were selling for $220-230 and now I can't find one that starts bidding under $270 and most sell for $300 or more! This is for the most basic 780, Titan cooler and reference clocks, God help you if you want a EVGA/ASUS one because they'll shove the price so far up your ass. I sweatergawd I'm just going to sell my 780 at this rate. Sell that for $300 and pick up a RAMGate panic seller 970 for $250 and move on with my life.

Re: Whats your pc?
Anyone here water cool? Been thinking about getting one of the new corsairs that came out.
Re: Whats your pc?
Quite a few here have AIO coolers. None of us have had problems.
I have the 100i, the new GT looks good and apparently they did alot of work on the pump.
