It rides well with the new suspensions changes. Haven't rode supercross since then. I'll pay you 2 bitcoins to make another.
I actually don't know. I don't think it's 2015 SX traction, but it is possible. I built this over a year ago, and then it sat on my HD just waiting for me to finish timing gates/track map and have shadows rendered. I believe I may have updated traction at some point because it used to be really slick but not sure what i used. The other day, I decided it was time to clean some nearly finished stuff up and get it out there. It's the offseason and guys need new tracks to play.

Thanks, I actually am not the biggest fan of this SX. I think it's okay, but not my favorite I've built.

Interesting. So what then is your favorite SX that you've built - or maybe the top 3-5. I imagine it's like picking your favorite kid, so it might not be a question that has an answer, but I'd be interested to see which of your tracks you favor.

I'd guess one of the outfield tracks. I'm pretty sure those all received the greatest response

I'd have to think about it a bit, but one of them definitely has been sitting on my harddrive for a year and I hope someday to release it. It's a project that I wanted to be my 100th track, but I don't want to release it without the proper environment for it. And having the proper environment requires modeling talents I don't have and I haven't been able to persuade someone yet to do it. It has crossed my mind to pay someone, that is how bad I want it, but I also don't think I can justify paying someone to build objects for a track I'm going to release free either if you get what I'm saying. I think it'll happen someday, I hope so.

Second would be something I'd have to think about a bit. Maybe the 2 SX tracks on the Race Factory Compound. They were super unique with one being on a hillside and the other being a long skinny layout. If not those, the SX Open tracks because I always spent extra time on them, though the older versions may be ruined a bit by 450s now.

Pm me what you need modeled. If it's not some ridiculously crazy, I should be able to do it.

I suck at sx so I won't comment that but I have been riding the mx track quite alot and I really like the layout. It's simple but still very encaging. The only thing I'm not really a fan of is some of the jump faces that fall away as you get closer to the lip. At least in my eyes that would be place for a minor improvement.

Great track!

Thanks for taking the time for feedback. It is on purpose, for my goony style I find faces like these easier to whip/scrub without catching a bar/peg.I alsohave found it feels like you can change your trajectory a bit more with them like this by having your rear wheel leave earlier or later on the face (might be placebo).

I should have thought it was on purpose.. I have never thought about them like that though. I quess have to do some testing now!

I truly appreciate the feedback. And just because it is the way I intended it, doesn't mean it is right. If you find something that you think works better and achieves the same thing, I'd love for you to share so I could try it!

More of this kind of feedback, please. Civility and constructive suggestions are on the comeback!

To that general concept, a super simple tool I learned year 1 of my undergrad education in Sport Psych applies- the "compliment sandwich." It's fucking cheesy, no doubt, but it actually works. When giving feedback to a performer - someone working/trying to complete a task/achieve any kind of goal - format your comments as such:

1) Something you liked and thought was done well
2) The most impact/meaningful aspect of the performance/product you feel can be improved upon (and why, how, specifically, while providing possible alternatives to address the aspect in question - and most importantly, focusing on the performance/product and NOT the person)
3) Another aspect of the performance/product you felt was positive.

Again, super 1st grade level stuff that most people do without thinking about, but it's a great template to formalize feedback within an insecure social structure, whether it be a single person or a community at large *cough*. :D

Its sad where this community is going and I fully understand your frustrations, thanks for all your hard work in all the years, since your tracks are well ridable for goons like me!

Thanks for the good words, and as I said in the initial, it was looking like it could be my last free release.

Don't worry, I haven't gone anywhere, and I have released more for free since and will continue to do so. I might run some paid events here and there, but I think for atleast the forseeable future, my tracks will remain free. I have a 5 round free series coming up shortly after tomorrow night's free straight rhythm.

120+ tracks and still rolling baby. That's a lot of 7.5 content haha
