Dirt: Rally, MXS League.

I've heard conversation coming out of animal pens that is more intelligent than what is going on in here.

currenttly first with 2 min lead loved this rally greec is so weird...you have to be smooth and precise rather than fast and aggressive..the tight spaces will bust you ahah

First stages were close but I fell about 40 seconds behind on those long stages and I wasn't able to catch up. Monaco is really tricky!

i found a good way to hit the U turns and the tight ones ....seems more effective approacing it with the high gear and downshifting in the middle so it doesnt slide out...i tried to drift around some those corners but apparently im a shit drifter with 4x4

I think I was quite ok with the tight parts but those really wide hairpins cost me a lot!

I gave this a first go yesterday and damn.
At a certain moment on the thirth stage I get the notes Jump > Bump > Caution left 5 or 6.
My idea was to go full throttle over the jump, since I just came out of a 3 turn I didn't had super much speed, brake in front of the bump and lean/jump into that left turn.
What actually happened is that I got air, realized I fucked up, landed right in front of the bump, got launched even higher by the bump than the jump launched me and wrecked my car totally against a couple of trees. My right rear wheel was missing (not even the rim was on anymore), my both front tyres were flat, my radiator was busted, steering was crap and I missed a door. So I called it a rally .

How one single bump can ruin it all haha.

Well, at Monaco I was 2nd through the first 4 stages and 5th and 6th are where I started wrecking. I made the mistake of trying the first two stages of Wales last night and crashed out.

Man, I do not know how to drive a 4WD car. Rolled the car over in first stage and due to not owning any group A cars or something I couldn't tune it at all and could only duct tape the radiator enough for the engine to not blow.

that's actually a bug in the league system. CM says it will be fixed soon. but until it's fixed no-one has any mechanics, so you can only repair a tiny bit of the car.. :? good thing is, everyone has the same problem

Ah, right. Well it surely made things more interesting. Halfway through Sweet Lamb or some other long stage I got a weird whining sound from the car and the co-driver went "Is the engine ok?". The rest of the stage was spent praying to every god and devil in human history to keep the car together to the end.

Flat on stage 6 and 5 point turn on stage 8 didn't help. Wales, night and rain.. I don't want to do that again :D

so the new update is coming out monday or tuesday. this should fix all the problems with the league system and add some extra stuff.. i'll probably create the next when the update is out. I'll need to get back into dirt rally myself, haven't played for a few weeks.
