Usually when I don't care, I give less effort. Seems to me going out of your way to mess with others' races takes more effort than "not caring," especially with the malice of forethought that goes into targeting certain people and avoiding others.

It's pretty simple here - don't be a dick. That's rule 1A. If you don't care, then quit. I would argue that's pretty damn simple, too. As far as I'm concerned, Storken is being quite nice to you on here given that you acting like an ass is the direct cause of the negative comments towards him and EMF.

Could there be more oversight in monitoring stuff like this? Sure, I don't know when that wouldn't be true. These guys are stretched thin and, until this incident, I think most everyone would agree they've been doing a pretty damn good job of playing idiot police. But to rely completely on them, or any admin, will never work 100% of the time. You know what would? Reasonable people participating in the race, who don't go out of their way to mess with other racers. Until there is more ownership amongst racers to be reasonable and respectful - and not just in EMF races - shit like this will always happen.
