M@xTizZz wrote:i think you all have a different opinion on track's scaling and you all think you have the best opinion, but really this part is overscaled, we downscaled the wall so now only the finish jump is overscaled and the guy who says it's the good scale should just stop their virtual bike near the face of the jump, try to calculate how many rider they can put one over the other, if it's more than 3/4 riders, IT IS overscaled ... 1 rider = 2 meters heigh (in game)

now imo the wall need one meter or 2 more to be really accurate and the jump need to be downscaled by 70% / 80% of his actual scale, like almost all jumps on this track (again this is my personnal opinion)

on a final point, we finally have the proof than this community don't want realistic tracks, cause this is the less realistic track of the season (linear ruts, almost no bumps at all) and it looks like you all like it

this game is called MX Simulator or did i missed something somewhere ??
I think ppl likes it as much as realistic, this track might be fun for qualifying but racing its bad because all the ruts are easy so insides will be way faster than any other line.
In 2013 mxgp Matterley was the only non realistic track, i hope this is the only one aswell :)

Charlotte is unfortunately not going to be made. It was initionally, but then they changed the area where it was going to be and no trackmap was around, so we switched it for Loket, sorry ;) :(

This is a dangerous road to go down IMO in terms of being critical of the lack of negative comments. I don't take the generally positive reaction to the track as definitive proof that people don't want realism. Rather, I think it is a sign of the good will you have built with people over the season by having consistently killer tracks. Plus, where ever this one falls on the realism scale, it's fun to ride and doesn't have any flaw so big as to ruin the enjoyment factor. This one has a different style/feel to it than others have, but that's part of the evolution of building for a series (in my eyes at least) - you learn something new each round - and it fits with the IRL variations from track-to-track in the GP's.

But if you really want people to be critical, I'm positive there are a few around here that you can find to take on that job  wouldn't be the first (or last) time we've seen that.

Disclaimer: It almost seemed to me like you were calling people out for NOT criticizing the track, but I may have misread, so please correct me if I'm wrong...

I think the good comments about this track being good made it seem that people like this type of track. This track is overscaled at a lot of place (mainly jumps and ruts). The ruts are very very big compared to previous years and this is one of those track where I enter a rut in 3rd gear and exit wfo in 5th. Also compared to a lot of other tracks this year, it's really lacking bumps. Before going out on the start, it's like 3 bumps into that turn, where if you go in the middle, there's none more or less. So either people like this style of track more or I don't know :p

We're either way probably going to have the rest of the tracks more similar to the previous ones.

if you are going to host a race series can you have at least one admin that isnt riding cos the racing is pure crap when people are riding around cutting every bit of the track and people going around doing backflips and 360s

you wonder why your series is dying it because you don't control the races and it just ruins it

The dude's hosting the series for you, which he doesn't have to do in the first place, and now you're trying to tell him he shouldn't be able to race? What kind of bullshit is that?

why not appoint a few more admins then? in 450Ams last place tookout like 1st to 10th without being kicked untill 8 minutes later even when tison wasn't riding there was chaos in every race tonight if somone is being retarded just kick them before they do anymore they are obviously just raging dont give them more chances to kill other people

He literally explained just two posts above yours, with photo proof and everything, why there were no extra admins present for the races. When it comes to not kicking a guy who is being a dick, I don't know what's going on there, but I can guarantee that even if Maxime were watching the race, he would not have been watching the guy in last the entire time, unless someone pointed it outo in chat. But, back to you. You should never expect to be able to tell someone they shouldn't be able to race their own series and then be in good with that person. If someone told me that for a series I was hosting, I'd probably just ban them from the rest of that series for being an ungrateful little shit
