Hmmm, I don't like automatic driver downloaders, I think I can find it if I know your os, what operating system are you using? (XP, Vista ect. (also bit type, 32 or 64).

On the new page you have the choice of downloading that whole pacakge, or separate parts. You could probably try the whole package since it would update the catalyst control center too. Or just grab the display driver. Up to you.

ok i clicked on the package 1 and then clicked run then when it finished downloading i clicked run again and it started the setup at the end it said failures occured during installation process and this is what come up
C:\Program Files\ATI\CIM\Reports\Report.xml
i really am confused now
thanks yz for your help
Having had the same problem I have found the following works.
Remove all Catalyst software and drivers and restart.
Run the installer, but choose the custom option.
Where the install path is "C:/Program Files/ATI Technologies" delete the "Technologies" and continue with the installation.
Worked for me! (Dodgy bit of coding?)
Hope it works for you
Uninstall the display adapter (like in the tutorial) and also the catalyst control center. Then follow the rest of the tutorial and try reinstalling it in "C:/Program FIles/ATI"

i went into the control panel to uninstall the display driver but it only has ati catalyst install manager
no ati display drivers
does this mean that the catalyst is not installed or.....
Which link? Theres a bunch of them. I wouldn't click it anywho. I don't like things that automatically update my whole computer's drivers. The safest way to do it is to manually go to each manufacturer's site and download them that way. Then you know exactly what you are downloading and for what.
