Download Track Here

First and foremost, an absolutely huge thanks to Storken for the immense amount of work he put into this track - it would not be what it is today were it not for his effort. Seriously, had a lot of fun working with you on this, thank you.

Also want to thank the couple of guys who beta tested a very early version of the terrain, who were able to give feedback on what the track rode like in game vs what it was like actually riding it irl, and those who gave tangible feedback on things that I/we would have missed were it not for the extra sets of eyes.

You will need one of the following 2016 EMF MXSGP object packs to see statues throughout the track (if you don't already have one):

Ultra resolution version - 114Mb
High resolution version - 63.9Mb
Medium resolution version - 35.2Mb
Low resolution version - 15.4Mb
Superlow resolution version - 9.8Mb

Also want to say thanks to Checkerz, who I've gleaned track making techniques/advice from for the better part of a couple of years now, and for a couple of layers from the terrain template. Thanks, as well, to twistmoto for the stadium files pulled from his Wilcox Stadium track.

A considerable amount of time went into this, on my and Storken's end, over the past number of weeks, so our hope is that those of you who race or download can see that effort. I started making this terrain in the week leading up to the actual GP race, and really enjoyed the process of track creation and revision (and learning) as much as I ever have in sim - I genuinely hope you guys have as much fun riding it as I did working on it.

See you all at the speedway 8) 8)

As I was there, I can say this isn't perfect, but it's a game so you can't expect it to be and it's still very well done and fun to ride. Really happy to have it in the game and happy that you made it since it seemed like it wasn't gonna get put in at all.

NOTE:
If you aren't seeing the night time sky, and are instead seeing a blue/daytime skybox, you will need to download this:
Lighting File

Once downloaded, simply drag it into the track folder you've already downloaded, and you should be good to go. Or, if you don't really care about the skybox, then don't bother - shouldn't effect your ability to connect to the server and race.

Thanks to NightLightMX (J-Perry I believe) for the skybox, which is what the lighting file in the original track downloaded referenced, hence the problem if you don't already have that track.

Apologies for the confusion

The link he had put. I'm pretty sure it was the original design before they designed the track they used.

Yup, pretty sure that's the original design when the race was schedule to be held at the drag strip.

For reference, a few easily find-able photos if you know how to type and have access to google:

I feel like you guys did a really good job on the track! Just some small things that could've been fixed. In my opinion the ruts feel like their flip flopped as in the ruts have a long run in to make it really easy to choose the rut but when you come out you barley have anything to bank off of besides like a 2 ft long rut, seems like the exits could have been drug out more, that my opinion though. Also the scale felt kinda wide and long, like some of the table tops not saying all of them but on a 250 are like 4th pinned unless I just suck and not getting a good drive lol but overall not dissing the track, like I said you guys did a really good job on it, thank you for all your hard work!
If you enjoy what I make, donate to the cause 8) It's very much appreciated!!

Thanks Kyle, really appreciate the feedback, the part in bold above especially so. I probably re-worked most of the corners 2-3 times to try and get the right "feel," but still don't think I was able to get some of them as close to "perfect" as I would have liked (same goes for a couple of other things, I guess that's part of the process). But your comment in the enter vs exit of the rut isn't something that I have given a great deal of thought to previously, which is probably a rookie mistake, and really helpful advice. I will definitely take your feedback/tips/etc. into account on future tracks, thanks again for taking time to type them out for me.

Glad your enjoying the track!

As someone who rode here in real life, you got a few things feeling pretty spot on, while other things were just not even close. All in all you got the layout down pretty good but some sections just need some adjustments. I'd list stuff I found good and bad in each section but that would be just too much lol. If you'd like to make any adjustments and re release I'd be happy to help.
