Re: Random fps drops
Just try fucking with random shit. Turn shaders on/off, mess with graphic settings and see what's best. If that doesn't help any, I recently deleted 21,100+ items from my sim folder, and also deleted tons of PSD's and shit from my computer. Then got the newest updates and my computer ran so much faster, same with MXS! So I would just mess with it all man!

Re: Random fps drops
Did you just do a driver update or did you delete the old drivers then install the new ones? I had the same issue a few weeks ago and had to delete all of the old drivers, and then install the new ones. Idk if this helps or not but hopefully it does.
Re: Random fps drops
It could be switching to an integrated GPU to save power. You can usually disable that in the graphics driver's control panel.

Re: Random fps drops
well thanks for the feedback you guys but i think i actually accidentally got a virus. I assume it was pretty bad because all of my windows restore points were deleted ;-; so i just ended up backing the important stuff onto a drive and reinstalled my windowsWahlamt wrote:Not some shady virus program scanning ever so often?
