Gilmore wears an Atlas brace, and an under protector.

He quit wearing a neck brace this season then, before if you look from years past he wore an Atlas brace, and if you look even further back he wore chest protectors in SX.

Welp, that's from 2014. Curious why he stopped running it then

So, injury pie. What's the percentage that it would've saved his neck? Like literally.

Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
He had a Leatt deal previously. I know they quit supplying support and custom fitted braces, but not sure if that has anything to do with not wearing one at all. Quit wearing it when info started rolling in about head injuries being escalated by the braces. I haven't asked Cody specifically why, but that'd be my guess as to the reasoning.
Re: 2017 Supercross Discussion
I'd love to see something like this focus on extreme sports instead of people too vain to wear a helmet.

What do you think the first reaction would be from the majority of the community? "I don't wanna look like a potato!"

Before it's inflated it isn't very noticeable and actually, I don't think it goes far enough. I'd be fine with wearing a bag around my neck if it turns me into the Michelin tire man right before I go head first into the ground.
