Someone should put Scottland up with erode. Or some freeride.

Firstly, very much appreciate seeing the first version of this finally come to life - thanks Josh.
Seriously - thanks again for taking this to the next level, and I really look forward to the development of the new system.
I think this is the major handcuff at the moment. Tried a few races, knew my FPS would drop so I turned down in game settings a ton - and lowered NVIDIA settings - but it was basically unplayable. Luckily, at least a moderate amount of this community is made of people who have put a decent financial sum into their PC's, so I imagine it's nearly unnoticable for them. I have what I would call a "decent-ish" PC, can usually run 125 steady with tweaked settings - maybe 80 on the low end for demanding tracks - but the minute I got into 05 the floor dropped out beneath my feet and I started fluttering wildly between 125 & 25. Again, thankfully, we have some very intelligent and tech savvy community members who know a hell of a lot more about the variables at play that I, so I'll leave it up to JLV, with the input/feedback from those well informed people, to hopefully work toward something that is more playable for the rest of us.checkerz wrote:...some optimization...

My best estimate would be Thu Jul 27 22:55:11 EDT 2017.RobertPink wrote:JLV, do you have an estimated time for the release of when people can bring erode into their own servers, or flowtech/mxsim.fr servers, not bitching, just a bit curious.

Win32: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxserv ... 7-1357.exe
You can set the erode value with --erode x on the command line or "server, erode x" online.

Can we get some links to the track rotation going on in here? I haven't been able to join the server since some guys started running custom tracks aside from stock/ama tracks. Either my version does not match or I just plain don't know what track I need.

Sammy will have to add it to the file of the servers(i think) and for your own server, just start it up join then put whatever track on nit, then set the erode value.808 wrote:i understand 0 of thisjlv wrote:My best estimate would be Thu Jul 27 22:55:11 EDT 2017.RobertPink wrote:JLV, do you have an estimated time for the release of when people can bring erode into their own servers, or flowtech/mxsim.fr servers, not bitching, just a bit curious.
