I have to optimize the reshading code. There are no settings to work around it. Luckily there's a lot of room for improvement.DannyBoy wrote:So question, is there a specific setting that reduces the frame rate drop I'm getting? Like tile resolution or anything? Just curious

Right on! Man I have to say, I didn't like it when I first tried it and kind of wrote it off. Today I hopped in this server with no expectations and just gave it a whirl. You really have something special here Josh. I haven't liked something with this game this much since multiplayer first came out. The way Southwick developed on a 20 man gate after 12 laps on I think erode level 6 was so realistic feeling and fun that I was almost laughing. The way you the ruts formed were perfect, and the way you could pick apart the track on lap 12 and ride the edges to find the smooth line was so much fun.jlv wrote:I have to optimize the reshading code. I caught myself literally smiling the first day I played it. It is so fucking sick. I haven't touched sim in about 3 months and this has me wanting to play it all day long.DannyBoy wrote:Right on!
