Thanks atom. I dont know how to increase th quality of the textures other than max my in game and gpu out (which I did) i dont really know how to do shadows besides from a James Webb tutorial from 2013. I’d love for some help with the texture thing and shadows!Atom6246 wrote:I'd say work on your shadows and ground textures (looks like you blurred the ground on the last pic, or just really low gfx).
Besides that your angles and overall quality has gotten much better. I especially like the roost on the 1st pic

If you dont have Peter's Nvidia inspect tool I would suggest doing that and for the shadows you just have to look at the way the sun is hitting you.MOTOZ293 wrote:Thanks atom. This pic you can see the sun setting but the shadow looks as if the sun is on top of you. Also since the day is almost over and the clouds are blocking, the shadow shouldn't be that dark. A tip I use is to look around the track and see the shadows from the jumps. If you look at the one just to the left of you, its just barely there. So that means yours shouldn't be darker (or lighter). That also goes with how the shadow should be positioned. IMO we would only be able to see the shadow from the rear of the bike. Also should be a little further back.
Just mess around and find what looks best because every screenshot is unique.

So do I ask peter in ts for it? And thanks for the tip! I didn’t think of it that way. I thought I pulled the shadow far enough but guess not. Definitely will try some new stuffAtom6246 wrote:If you dont have Peter's Nvidia inspect tool I would suggest doing that and for the shadows you just have to look at the way the sun is hitting you.MOTOZ293 wrote:Thanks atom. I dig it.

Make sure the shadow is touching both wheels. Looks like the back end is in the air due to how the shadow is.MOTOZ293 wrote:
