norm/spec files

norm/spec files

Okay so I just got into skinning, saw some tutorials got the basics, I downloaded a cr250, put on my number and stuff, saved as a png, but there is no _norm and _spec file, nor theres' a layer, any help on how do I create them?

The PSD only contains a wire layer.

This model was made, back when only a few guys knew how to make normal or spec maps. This model doesn't have them either.

I see, is there any way to make spec/ norm?
I cannot find anything on youtube..

You can make a spec map, but to keep it short, it's not a good idea for this model.
You can make a normal map, but you're only able to bake normals from a texture, since you don't have the 3D file of the bike.
I'd suggest you to buy the CR 250 Model by Jre, it's flawless and looks absolutely fantastic
