If anyone that lives in So Cal and knows of the track LACR, or the event, A Day in the Dirt, please try to replicate that Grand Prix track. If you do not know of the track check out the link anyway to see if you'd like to make a replica.

Re: LACR
Firstly welcome, I see this is your first post here
Just a reminder this "tracks" sub-forum is used for completed tracks.
All requests should go in the track editing sub-forum where there is a topic for track requests - http://mxsimulator.com/benchracing3/vie ... f=2&t=2237
Nice looking track though
Thanks

Re: LACR
Man I've tried making tracks. Read through all the tutorials, downloaded photoshop, and everything.
I've spent hours on a track just for it to suck.
I just suck at all that business.
On the other hand Im getting pretty fast in game.

Re: LACR
I started with the A Day in the Dirt layout but it felt very bland. The 100 mph straight away was boring in my opinion and alot of sections felt like they needed more jumps. I made the long straight away another lane that goes down and back up. I kept the basic layout but added more to it. there are more jumps, nice ruts, braking bumps, rutty and rough sand section, couple nice step ups and more. I made all of the jumps easy to whip / scrub on as well. I watched some videos and none of them looked like the actual layout so it is kind of mixed. It feels pretty realistic to me, I'll try and post some pictures up sometime soon. Still need to figure out some decals, which is why I have never released a track.gomoto846 wrote:no i broke my wrist a few months ago. havent ridden since november... gonna start again soon. do you wanna do the A Day in the Dirt track or the normal LACR track?
