Are there any particular settings in photoshop that you can change to get better performance? Got a 2070 and 16gb ram, 8700k and still find things to lag sometimes with 600mb+ bike psds (the cycra yamaha psd is still fucking painful to open/ use). Or am I expecting too much from my pc. ty

It's generally just going to have trouble with such large files. The primary change I would suggest is to set the RAM allowance and choose multiple or different scratch disks if you have multiple drives. You can tell it you want to utilize GPU rendering, but I'd be lying if I said I've noticed a difference with it over the years. All of that should be under preferences.
