Sand Blaster

Post by jlv »

I'm making tracks again? It's a Christmas miracle!

This is just a random terrain I generated that I was going to use as a test bed for some stuff I'm working on. It's a really fun terrain though so I figured I'd post it. More freeride than a race track but it is set up with timing gates and a path to ride so it is raceable. Lots of nice transitions to hit which makes it hard to lay out a track without feeling like I'm missing stuff. I have it running on elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19805 if anyone wants to ride it online.

I'm curious what you guys think of the traction since this is the first track I know of that uses slip function 2 traction.

Traction was really odd at first but is really fun! I wish sim had a "disable fall off" function. Too many big jumps on this track I crash every 4 seconds

Exactly this.

I was checking my suspension settings when I kept getting fall offs but then I just realized I was 6th gear pinned and 500' in the air on most jumps.

Whoops. Probably shouldn't have had the autorestart script running on a freeride track. It's off now.
