New PC, Fresh Installation. Sim Won't Continue Setup

So I recently got a new pc, and I went to install sim onto it.

I went to the 1.13 update, downloaded it, went into the setup and it wouldn't let me continue to the next step after selecting a destination. I tried changing the destination folder, it wouldn't even let me select a different folder.

So I thought, maybe if I installed the 1.1 version, and then the 1.13 update it might work. Still the same issue.

Even in the default destination, it will not let me continue the setup.



It will not let me select a custom destination for the installation either.

Have you tried installing it on your C drive?

In the picture I posted, the destination is set to install on the C Drive. So, yes.

I've transferred all the essential files manually. I no longer need help with this, but I would like to know what was going on. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to share or ask questions.

The update installers only patch the previous version to the update version. You need to start with a full installer.

DP I’m a doofus 2.0. The v1.0 is probably given to you in an email when you purchase the game, correct?

Open the link from the email you got, it will have the latest version. Install that, then add the latest snapahot. Current latest update/installer is v1.13.

Check your jakedog email account. The BMT link is always the most recent. It'll be 1.13.
