Not sure if you guys have heard, but MotoConcepts Yamaha has European KTM 2 stroke rider Cedric Soubeyras riding a YZ 250 2-stroke in the 450 class this year. His debut race will be phoenix and he'll race up until san diego.

Also, here's the dyno of the motor

Putting down about 44hp to the rear wheel (almost 8 more than stock), and a nice smooth torque curve.

Soubeyras is right now getting ready for the main event in de SX of Dortmund. I think he can make every main event, maybe he even can take some top-10 spots becouse that guy is rly talented.ShackAttack12 wrote:Not sure if you guys have heard, but MotoConcepts Yamaha has European KTM 2 stroke rider Cedric Soubeyras riding a YZ 250 2-stroke in the 450 class this year. Re: 2011 AMA Supercross Discussion
It'll be an epic battle of the Ryans... for third place.
Stewart is still in a class of his own, but Reed won't be far behind.
Remember, these guys battled with RC. I think the pace was faster then than it is now.
If Pourcel were racing, I'd consider him to be Bubba's biggest threat. I can't be too bummed tho, because in Colorado there is no SX but we have Thunder Valley so the National's will be very exciting and possibly a better storm than even this sx series.
In the 250f class, I'm rooting for Colorado boy Josh Hansen (I rode with him at DHMA when he was still on 80s, and by golly aint noone on earth was faster than him on his home track on an 80)
However, if I were a gamblin man, I'd put my money on Ken Roczen for this race as well as the championship, even though I want to see an American win the AMA title. I was there and saw the way he rode at the MXoN, and he's an Aryan RC superhuman
