Re: New Years No Limits
I had the idea of making this track last week. I made 30ft tall take off and landings with a 0.38 takeoff slope. I made 3 jumps, one 400ft peak to peak, one 500ft, and one 600ft. With the Yz450F using +2,-2 gearing, the 400ft jump is clearable in 4th gear tapped, and the 500ft jump is clearable in 5th gear tapped. The 600ft, at least with this jump setup, is not clearable. I would need to make a taller jump with more of a slope. Theoretically, a 45 degree takeoff would be ideal.
If the slope in MXS is measured in radians, that means a 0.38 slope is only 21.7 degrees. I would need to make a jump 0.785 slope to be 45 degrees. I'm not home right now to test this.

My track was more of a proof of conecpt than anything.
I figured that id make all the ramp angles and such based off of geussing mainly and to look and feel somewhat like the actual thing.
The gap and run-in are both almost perfectly acurate.

Dubstep is terrible anyways, no matter how "good" you are.
Ramp should be cool though, keep it up

The slope is the height / length. To convert to radians use arctangent. For 45 degrees you want a slope of 1.ShackAttack12 wrote:I had the idea of making this track last week. I geuss that would make more sense if its based off of the same way you find the slope of a graph.jlv wrote:The slope is the height / length. To convert to radians use arctangent.
