Black/white numbers
As all of you already now the 450:s are out, and i was wondering if it whould be possible to do something so you can switch between black and white numbers in the bike setup menu, it pretty annoying when u ride a 450 with white numbers.

Re: Black/white numbers
I was thinking about this the other day as well. I don't know if you've seen this post jlv, but it would be very helpful. Perhaps something like this:
125_numbers.png
250_numbers.png
450_numbers.png
This way we can save white numbers for the 125's and 250's, and black numbers for the 450's.

Re: Black/white numbers
I don't plan on doing it that way. In most places the number plate background indicates your skill level, so what you propose would be wrong for amateur racing. I figure I'll let you set the color in the skin name instead, or possibly add an extra file with skin parameters.

Any possibility in running the numbers like the skins?jlv wrote:I don't plan on doing it that way. Let people have multiple number sets, and if you don't have the set someone is running, it will just look like default numbers.
Re: Black/white numbers
Come on guy! Black and White numbers are a necessity. It has nothing to do with backgrounds for amateur. Black backgrounds for 250s, White for 450s. This is a block of text that can be added to posts you make. There is a 255 character limit.

Re: Black/white numbers
i think its better if u can choose number/backround colour ingame, so you can change from race to race

Re: Black/white numbers
It sounds like if jlv does what he says, you'll just have to set what numbers a bike uses either in it's skin name or in a separate file pertaining to the skin (don't know if he means from existing files (ie a set of black and a set of white number png's) or by actual color (ie white, black, or their RGB values)). That sounds fine to me, normally you don't run more than one color number on a bike, unless you have colored backgrounds (which we normally don't use).

Re: Black/white numbers
i think it would be better to use different fonts ingame then you can switch like rims, helmet...

Re: Black/white numbers
that made no sense at all.dudy#75 wrote:i think it would be better to use different fonts ingame then you can switch like rims, helmet...
I agree with having number color (Black/White) selectable in the bike setup menu, it would be a welcome addition for sure.
Re: Black/white numbers
That's pretty much what he just said..
