Need for Speed: Shift
Need for Speed: Shift
Just wondering if any of you have seen it or looked into it. I've been following it not too closely for a while now, and it got outstanding reviews on ign and a few other websites.
I'm thinking about picking it up tuesday.

Re: Need for Speed: Shift
dirt 2 looks better...shift is only circuit thats boring its more or less a knock off of gran turismo it seems
Re: Need for Speed: Shift
I'd say wait for Forza 3 (if you have xbox360)
I checked the IGN review of Shift from youtube, and it sounded more like a bought commercial than a review. Didn't really convince me, but I think I'll give it a try anyway.

Re: Need for Speed: Shift
I cant wait for Modern Warfare 2, gonna be so sick!!!
Halo has sucked balls since Halo 2, the original Halo was badass, but went downhill after that.......

Triple post
Just thought i'd let you guys know that i got both dirt 2 and NFS: Shift and personally I like NFS better. It's a very good game from what i've played through so far. Drifting is extremely hard until you get the hang of it, but very rewarding when done right. The replay mode is phenomenal complete with a screenshot mode, and you can also upload your taken photos. Overall I think it deserved it's 9.0 rating on ign.

Re: Need for Speed: Shift
Sounds sweet man! But I haven't folowed NFS: Shift at all and I was wondering if it is all circuit-based racing? Or is there like street racing too?
And on Dirt 2, do they have any tracks for the trucks that have a lot of jumps and technical sections, like whoops and rythms?
Thanks for any replies you can offer... I don't know if I should get any of these or hold off till Christmas, so any feedback helps!

It's circuit based racing with tracks like Laguna Seca and a few other replicas.
to be honest I haven't even opened up DiRT2 because i've been playing nfs too much.

I don't have the extra money ATM to get any games, and what I do have I'm saving for Reflex since it'll be better than any car game. Then there's also Modern Warfare 2... another 60 bucks I don't have.

I bet you didn't have to pay for a ER trip, doctors visit, surgery, and a hospital room for 10 hours over the last week though.
I have 0 dollars in my wallet.
