Re: People losing their shit since the re-election
Actually I don't have one, much less an ar15. To be honest I am not that comfortable with guns. I've shot guns on several occasions, but am far less proficient with one than I am with a my Chinese shaolin broadsword, at close range. That is my weapon of choice, if there is an intruder. I also have a...

Re: People losing their shit since the re-election
Now some moron in Washington D.C. is proposing arming school teachers. Ugh. This is knee-jerking at it's worst. All school teachers in Israel carry assault rifles. Several school counties in Texas have trained staff at each school with access to assault weapons that are kept in lockers. Let me get ...

Re: People losing their shit since the re-election
DJ clearly did not read the study that I posted in the first post. If he were, he would see that, while the US may have the most GUN-RELATED murders, we by no means have the highest rate of straight up murders. In fact, Australia has twice the rate of assault victims, almost twice the rape rate, and...

Re: 2013 Bikes
Thanks for doing this. It's insane how much faster the ktm250sxf is than the new yz250f (which is probably how it has been all along. Same basic engine for well over a decade- I used to own one and now it feels realistic) I just need to figure out this renaming business so I can use the katoom witho...

Re: People losing their shit since the re-election
Bob, you have way too much common sense to make it far in academia. Sorry to bear the news. Interesting how all or nearly all of publicized shooters of the last decade have been on psychiatric drugs, and so of course the solution in MORE psychiatric drugs, and more Orwellian though-crime. That in th...

Re: People losing their shit since the re-election
It is a very heated topic in Colorado, with the recent Batman incident. Many, many people, and sadly most academics, are all parroting that we now need a "serious talk" about gun control. There is pressure from the UN and most liberals within to ban all firearms. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/...

People losing their shit since the re-election
Given that I am going to be an elementary school teacher within a year, and am also a martial artist, the recent tragedy and the "politicization" being proposed hit close to home. I thought I'd mention an study here, because it seems every damned liberal and European wants to outlaw all guns, and ma...

Re: MX Sim Cup - 2012
Really high quality track, very fun. Slightly hard to see in some spots, but that's prob realistic. Really liked the Talladega, it all felt just like how it looked on tv. The berms were good in my opinion, and it's a different style from the other makers but still very realistic and nice flow.

Re: 2013 SX track scale 1:1
I wonder if it would be much more trouble to JLV to release two versions, one for racing and one for solo. The solo would be 1:1 scale, and be good to ride with erode on alone. The other would be the race version like Wario Stadium in mariokart 64 as most ppl seem to prefer. If you give a mouse a co...

Re: 2013 SX track scale 1:1
I generally agree with Shadow and yFMX. I like the 1:1 scale tracks better, including the ones that DJ rescaled but were made to be 1:1.25.
How about 1:1.1 as a compromise for the upcoming supercross season?

Re: MXdN Predictions
This is going to be interesting. I wonder if The Man is wondering if he should have invited Bubba after all. We may not get any moto wins this year, and could very well not win. But I'm still betting that, as a team, USA wins.

I think the best way is to hit them right-side-up, from the front

Re: MXdN Predictions
I wouldn't mind having an event that is top ten USA riders vs. top ten riders from everywhere else. Or, as I said last year, we could send team Florida (Ricky, Bubba, and Jason Thomas) and probably get the job done. National boundaries and identities are just a charade now in Europe what with the EU...
