Re: MXS Twitter

Finally got around to watching "The Sound of Metal" on Prime this weekend. It's a well done movie. I can totally relate to hearing loss after 50+ years of damaging my hearing starting with smashing entire rolls of caps with a rock to being in a band through high school to riding and racing and goin...

Re: MXS Twitter

I find AI Research super interesting.. and as this relates to physics and games I thought it would be cool to share here. Would be a cool graduate program.. but I probably lack some fundamentals in ML & AI. I'll keep watching from a far in awe.

Re: Political Debate Thread

Little early on the 4-year scale to drop this many hypocritical lines simply to start an argument is it not? I simply enjoyed not getting my press briefings from Twitter, which is a great start for me. I would think it would be hypocritical to not be hyper-evaluative to the current administration n...

Re: Political Debate Thread

Damn, Ben Shapiro trained you well for this one huh? I think for myself but I agree with Ben on many things, other things though, I disagree with him. If you can get over his annoying voice/mannerisms and generally angry undertone, he is a pretty fair commentator. Biased to the right no doubt, but ...

Re: Political Debate Thread

Transparency? Talking about seeing through a different, one-way mirrored lens! So, you see no issue with completely ending press briefings? Oh! Also, pulling press passes and banning reporters? Oh, oh! How about saying they're the enemy of the people? Didn't that seem just a wee bit wrong? Probably...

Re: Political Debate Thread

Interesting. Definitely see things through a different lens.

No issue with the lack of transparency? Not taking questions, rushing reporters out of the room, and flat ignoring journalists seems a bit wrong to me.

Re: Political Debate Thread

As long as they keep busy or colorful carpet designs off of anywhere he walks he should be better.. That's typically a problem with folks that have brain degrading diseases. Sad. I'd much rather have him in the driver seat than Harris, but I'm not sure that will happen for much longer. Anyone satisf...

Re: Political Debate Thread

I have no problem with letting fools kill themselves. The problem in this case is the average person who contracts covid infects 2 more people. And the mask is more to prevent you from spewing on the people around you than to protect you. This is getting into libertarians against drivers licenses t...

Re: Political Debate Thread

Wearing a mask isn't a big deal. Why not save some lives until we're all vaccinated? It's not a big deal, I still wear one here in Iowa when wearing it is a rational circumstance. Most local governments and almost all businesses still require them. However, the illogical draconian mandates in many ...

Re: Tuff Block Design for Safety

And even better design would be something like Nitro Circus is using for their big landings. Basically a rideable airbag. That way when you have a situation such as Jett clipping a tuff block on a landing... the rider can effectively ride through it.

Re: Tuff Block Design for Safety

I too have thought a lot about this. I think there a lot of technological integrations that can be applied. I sketched a CAD solution for this last year when PulpMX was ranting about tuff blocks... kind of forgot about it. My ideas are this: 1. Position Stability - I think a lot of problems that ste...

Re: Political Debate Thread

It still baffles me that someone can refer to someone else as a “backwards-ass, knuckle-dragging mouth breather that can’t spell nor add” while simultaneously wanting them to change their political views to fit yours. What a piece of shit elitist attitude. I don't really expect anything less. This ...

Re: Political Debate Thread

Wait until you figure out that counties and businesses can still mandate masks, and individuals can still wear masks even without a mandate. It will never be enough for elitist short sighted snobs.. I will enjoy the day I don’t have to think about the amount of times someone has touched their wet s...
