Whatever it is it was unplayable before now it is much better.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I just switched back to the old snapshot, mapped my controls and then switched to the new one and didn't re-map them. Dropped my lap time 4 seconds feels like a whole new game again. Can't wait to race normally again.
