rider's gear doesn't load

rider's gear doesn't load
when i download new gear somtimes it wont work when i start the game at the top of the scrren it says "could not load...." what is wrong?

I'd need to know the exact message to be sure, but you probably don't have the rider/helmet model the gear is intended for.
