How much memory does a server use?

How much memory does a server use on idle (empty)? Also how much memory it uses when fully loaded (full)?

This question is mainly aimed at JLV, as he would have the data sheets and all the information regarding the games technical information.

Depends on what you mean by full (what you set the limit to).

With less than 10 people on there, you should have absolutely no problem, as I run the server and play on it and it doesn't effect my frame rate at all, and my computer sucks, 2.1 ghz dual core intel t4300 processor, 4gb ddr2 ram... if it's just on a server terminal (linux server edition, etc...) then you can host it with less than 1 ghz processor... =/ and half a gig of ram

Essentially nothing for modern servers. It uses about 6.5 megs total with about 1.25 megs resident.

Thanks alot, JLV. That's exactly what i was looking for.

It's not to host on my PC, it's for my VPS i've had for a while now and was looking to set up a few 24/7 servers, that's all.
