For the newbs
Hello MXSIM community My name is Joshua and like you all i love to ride and am very passionate about motocross. So about a month ago i gave this game a legitimate shot and have been liking it ever since. But unlike many newbs i'm trying to learn by reading your guys posts on setups , what is what , practicing , how to ride better and the eventual no newbs allowed in supercross severs. But despite all the re-marks to newbs i just want to learn to go fast and race around with the best of you. So i have a request help us newbs out with some tips and tricks , knowledge , and understanding of what is good and the bads of the game so we all get going faster and eventually have some awesome racing.

1) Be respectful and vets will be more willing to aid in your quest.
2) Search others post regarding setups. Pick and choose through trial and error on what works best for YOU. Just because something works well for one, doesn't mean it will for another, but it may get you headed in the right direction with some tweaking of your own.
3) Take it slow and and run clean laps..speed will come in due time. When you get the "hang" of the bike get off the stock tracks. You will progress more on the National or SX tracks. Watch other guys ride, learn what lines they use. Get comfortable, and start trying those lines and ones you might think are faster. Keep your stability up a bit until you run those clean laps and then lower it little by little.

Fast doesn't mean hitting some crazy bubba line once during the whole race. It means hitting manageable lines every lap without crashing. As you get better, the lines that are manageable for you will get bigger. If you're starting out, just double everything and go from there.
