I think it is just the slower guys happy to do the bigger lines. I can still do the same lines as before just a gear lower.

How come? It seems like DJ was able to convert them relatively quickly.

I'm doing the same lines as I did before, and I'm not too slow. I actually think it takes more skill to time sections. I used 1st gear for all of the rhythms before, and I'm still doing that now.

just change your gear ratios shorter, if you like shifting. and if your on automatic shifting for sx.. well thats just wrong. lol. on 450 i can sit in 2nd and kick to 3rd when i need a little boost on 1:1, just like i do on 1:1.25. personally i love the 1:1 scale, it just feels better. instead of rawr i gotta hit this just pinned or theres no chance of making it. you have to be a little more calculated and precise. i love tracks where i actually gotta use throttle control.
