What's your race number?

Everyone has a number and I just wanted to see who had what number and why or how you got your number. Usually riders race numbers stick for life! It's more than a number…it's a way of life!

since i was a kid i have always had a 58 in my number.
was 558, then 658 and now 758.
next year's number is 458

I love stories about peoples numbers, mines 220 I got it cos I needed a number and it was my dads eBay feedback and I've kept it ever since

well the first year i started racing it was 334
then E44
next year hopeing to be 44

My Dad was Randy Moody (Jeremy McGraths roommate when he first turned Pro, and Randy Moody made mains in the early 90s) mechanic and he was #401, my Dad rode his practice bikes and just took over #401, then when my brother started riding he used #401, and when I was born my dad was going to give me #400 but that was too much like the Alessi's so he gave me #410 and I like the way it looks so I've kept it ever since.

31. Chose it because 1) my bday is Jan. 31st and 2) my cousin is number 32 and they are the ones who got me into racing in the first place and I wanted a number close to his.

122, i used to race with 22 when i was 4. But then once race i had to put a one infront of the 22. Its stuck with me for the last 21 years
