[/size]Oups, want to says "what can I, or what can we do for you, JLV ?" ;)

Because I want you to make this game the best ever, because it's gone from my dream and I'm searching for that since many years, so, I think I know what to do for perfection, and you will make it, I know because you begin it:)
I'm already working for U(s) making a big "wish list" with bugs & others corrections suggestions, wish priorities and easier tasks sorted, I hope you will take time to read those things.
BUT i want if possible, to do more ! I think a lot of people want too, just ask !!! :)
Because this game deserves the best, because it's just already is. I think you will be rich ^^ (but don't sell or stay in charge until it's not a perfect mx simulation game !(not so long). After you can try a supermotard, quad, atc, bicycle derived game on your engine.
Hmm, sorry but I can talk during hours about this game so...

I've 5 year PAO formation so i'm working with Photoshop, Illustrator, Xpress, and i know a lot of multi media application, from 3d studio v2, povray to MAX, maya in 3D i'm not an real artist but i can make some graphical content for you, I will find free time for your game ^^ Content like, menus or illustration projects, whit don't put 3D technical animations while in settings menus or others ? Can we make some propositions ?

i think that jlv doesnt want help :/
any ppl has offered him help but nothing...
anyways i liked a lot the idea of a new game based on him physics, i would love to see a quad game with this physics, should work great

Honestly, the best thing this engine could be used for is snowboarding. Imagine throwing down a doublecork 12 with this engine.

Instead of a lean key only, you could have some sort of rotational key, where you'd wind up, and release it,and lean forward and back would change the rotations much like MXS. I'm not talking fake corks, this would be completely dynamic, as in, you won't land your first 40 corks. And Imagine jibs. Like, throwing a 270 into a boardslide,and sliding off, it would be so nice in this game. It'd take minor tweaking.


So now that it's spring, I want to board. :(

yeah, you`re right voutare, that should be awesome....
or maybe a bmx or mountainbike game, wouldnt be that hard to do i guess, (from the base that a mx bike is a lot different than a snowboard but not that diferent from a downhill bike) honda has done a downhill bike that is pretty similat ro a mx bike..

I think that the low speed turning would need to be edited greatly. This game really doesn't appreciate turning at all, especially when doing things like BMX/downhill.

I mean, how often do you really hit 20 miles per hour on a Bike?

hmmmm
yeah, that`s true, you go slow sometimes, but otherwise sometimes you go 30mph+
pretty fast
all depends on the circuit you`re on, as an example sea otter was a pretty fast rockless circuit, its a good example for 30mph+....

- track preview ? Defaut track session chooser ? if possible.
- check files associations like .mxdemo
- personal folder link (fix)
- model chooser & switcher,
->skin by model type, viewer & installer (viewer with 3D support ? or just preview.png file based)
(Is there a convention to set a default name for preview graphical contents, files like preview.png for track, skin, models... ?)
- replay tools : ...
advanced task (further...)
netgaming :
- chat room : (see rbrnet like ?) -> championship ? (Number assignation)
- make a low-res skin database for netgaming ? only 1st user model in HR for olders computers. ?
-> low rest skin database update & synchronisation task?
I need to know more about this game, command line usage, all config. settings, & filename charts... But if someone allready know & can make it he can (lol)
This game will be modable ? For example, someone could mod some physical variables, models & sounds (& anims?) , (and do a bicycle game, quad, or other ;p ).

i agree with vouture these physics would work a lot better with a snowboarding sim.. there needs to be some major tweaking to the physics itself

mhmmm it would be sick to have the old 250rs ,banshees ,blasters,and all the new 450 quads caz i have a 450 so it would be mad cool i also had a blaster and a banshee

A [pointless] topic created with the intent of having jlv answer a question, something he has yet to do, has been hijacked by people with info fit for the game suggestions topic. If the topic is "->JLV, what can we do for U ?", then maybe the point is to let jlv answer the question. Can't you guys just leave a topic alone? It's funny really. In my experiences he doesn't want help, or can't accept it for copyright or other similar reasons. Chances are high that he won't want yours either. Harsh, but reality.
