WSAECONNRESET << whats that mean? Ive created a server and when I go to join that comes up

That means that the server is offline. Or you put the ip wrong

It seems like you usually get that when a software firewall is blocking you on Windows. If it's the router blocking you the packets usually disappear with no error resulting in endless "Contacting server" messages.

JLV my friend trys to connect and it says contacting server even when I am in it so it must be my router. How do I fix that? oh and when it 1.9 coming out?

Almost all home networks will need port 19800 forwarded to the server. If you haven't done that, that's your problem.
