cant go back in menu ?!?

This problem is pretty weird, so the other day I was playing MXS and was getting bored of tracks and gear. So I went online today and DL'd some new ones. Loaded em up just before, first track went fine so then I thought I'd try new gear, pressed escape to bring up the menu and NOTHING HAPPENED ?!? I pressed every single key on the keyboard numerous times and all appropriate keys worked fine except the escape key. The only way to change anything now is to control alt delete my way back out which needless to say isn't exactly convenient. Where have I gone wrong ? All the files are appearing in game as far as I could see. Anyone had the same problem or have some advice for me ?!? Thanks guys

hmm i have no idea but maybe in the controls menu there need to be a button assigned to go backwards?

If not try to delete your config file?

Yeah the esc button did work in other programs I tried that Thanks though. Anyway I tried again today and my old config file was there today so all I did was delete my new one, load that back up and viola, working again...weird. Thanks for the help guys and if the moderators want to delete this topic now thats ok.
