snapshot issue

So since I downloaded the newest snapshot (first time I've ever downloaded one before so I don't know if this is normal), I can't use my personal folder. I've been just putting downloads into my program files folder for mxs. I really hate doing this so is there any way I can get back to using my personal folder with this new snapshot?

you have to rename the snapshot mx.exe exactly, i had the same problem

So that didn't really work out for me since I still had the old exe on my desktop. So I changed the name back to what it was before and just changed the target location of the personal folder.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator\mx-2014-07-28-1231.exe" --open-home
And that worked for me...
