This has a quicker downshifting auto shifter, and less low-mid rpm engine braking on the two strokes.

Linux users: http://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mxbin-2008-06-02

Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

It feels like I can throw whips so much easier now for some reason.
Did you update the sim physics at all? Or just the auto-downshifting?

This game is not MVA, it actually uses natural physics so when you adjust engine braking it is going to change the way the bike handles in the air and so on, just depends on how you ride.
