Just curious how UI scripting has been going. Or if you’ve looked anymore into updating the first person camera. Still love this game and really wanna enjoy first person because i feel like i don’t have as much control in third person. Just curious if and what you’ve worked on recently cause I’m sure everyone is excited for any updates

Haven't been working on the UI scripting yet. I really do want to get on that though since it'll be incredibly useful.

What have you been working on, if anything? I know you had mentioned some outside factors preventing much work on the game a while back

My focus is the new lighting but admittedly not getting much done. Hopefully I'll have less time constraints soon.

Would you ever consider having any help? I know you’ve built it all by yourself and that’s amazing in and of itself, but I think having 1 or 2 more people helping bring more optimization and features to the game could really bring the spark back to this game. It is still hands down the best motocross simulator

From what I know jlv likes to have full creative freedom, and when you bring on multiple people sometimes they'll disagree on what should be added / changed. I'm not sure if jlv has some sort of version control system already implemented but bringing on others would involve implementing something like that if it's not already done, that probably wouldn't be as big of a blocker as the creative freedom though.

I definitely get the creative freedom part, I guess I'm just more curious about having people that know how and can spend some of their free time implementing the ideas that he has, if he's strapped for time. Just a thought

Optimization is extremely difficult and probably best left in my hands. I probably will hire a modeler after the lighting is done.

probably about the 1000th time someone has suggested this, but how hard would it be to make a 3rd person locked camera in the demo replay? I post all of my races on you tube but clearly people enjoy watching the racing in 3rd person way more than 1st. I would love to rerecord my races in 3rd and upload them.

And maybe with the option to disable the name showing up at the bottom too if you wanna do that
