Passwords for tracks?

Im looking to qualify for the smx 125 race... I noticed there are passwords for some tracks what are these for and how do they work???

Hopefully I'm not to late to this but the password is always above the image of the track usually under bold letters that say PASSWORD

I know Seth already answered you above;
but I noticed you also asked "what are these for and how do they work?".

The password system is because most of the rF tracks and the SMX tracks are posted for download the day of a NA Pro Race, and then the password gets dropped 1 hour before the start of the Pro Events.

Most of the Pro rF and MXSbattlegrounds pro races do a "1 Hour Qualifying", so it keeps it more fair for everyone to learn the track and run a lap within 1 hour of the password being dropped!

Thanks guys this clears things up for me so much! Im not new to the game but I'm definitely new to the multiplayer do you have to enter the password somewhere????

When you unzip the track it will ask you for the password, just copy and paste it into the text box.
