i know i shouldn't ask but i can't..
do you plan to work on new rider animations too?
like making him more fluid and dynamic on the bike?
and what about your next plan on shaders?
shadows on the ground maybe?
I think with reflex just coming out, and seeing the tracks, that would be a step in the right direction to put shaders on the ground, so then we can concentrate more on the terrain, and put in all of the little bumps and tractor tracks like in reflex. And it would also make the ground stand out more, not be as dull looking.
Just saying, the rider staying on is something i loved most about this game. Dont you remember when you cased that one triple in MXA and you flew off, when in real life you know you could have held on? I think if the rider is able to be seperate, im gonna have MXA triple case nightmares all over!

I can honestly say that I've never cased a jump in MVA hard enough to crash and said that I could've survived that in real life.
There have been occasions in MvA where the reasons I crashed for were totally unrealistic, but most of them were from the bike not reacting realistically to things. I think with the rider separating from the bike in mxs it will be for real life reasons, it will force you to ride even more realistically too. You won't have as big of a tendency to kamikaze everything .

It'll make an even bigger learning curve. I will have to hold back even more when im riding in mxs if all of this happens haha. I think there will be a lot of little things i will miss (like not crashing in some situations) if this happens and you crash from casing jumps and whatnot.
This is a simulator, realistically, casing a massive jump, should just snap our forks off and bust our riders in half. Thats a little extreme, but there definatly needs rider seperation (from bike), no 'buts' about it. then just have him slowly appear back on the bike after a few seconds (fade in?) give him 5 seconds of no collsions so as to not cause any collisions after respawning and bobs your uncle.

If this turns out to be true, i think rider seperation will be great. I was only pointing out the silly cases in MvA where the rider aimlessley hops off the bike when he shouldnt have.
