In french 4 strokes are called 4 temps, 2 strokes 2 temps. I guess others latin languages have also a word that starts with a "t".

I kinda have to agree with Joe on the power and hit. They do seem underpowered compared to the 250f. When you did the 250f dynos you made mention that you adjusted the power curves, and that they make more power than stock irl. Did you adjust the power at all on the 250t? That could be an explanation.

Annnnnd, amidst writing this, I read this.

My problem is probably riding the 250t above 9000rpm... haha I'll have to be consenious to keep it right around 8000.

2t = 2 tempos in Brazil = 2 stroke

I suppose that the 250 2t might be more agressive ingame, like in real life when you accelerate a smoker and the front come up...

(PLEASE FORGIVE MY ENGLISH)

Well that explains why I seem to go faster with the 250 when I'm not completely pinning the throttle.

now i exactly see whats the problem is with the 250s power
with the stock dynos you have to ride them at 8000 rpm
it would be much nicer when jlv would add a powerband where the most power is at 9000-10000 rpms

i think the 250s are great...not a big fan of the 450s but maybe i just need to ride them more. the 250 2's are smokin though! shift often (and early...dont overrev) and maybe stay a gear high in corners for traction and you can make most hard to clear jumps coming out of turns. cant wait for some nice models and skins...ill probably be using 250 (4 strokes and 2 strokes) from now on.

this game just keeps getting better and better...

DDMX, he didn't adjust the 250F's to be more powerful, this is JLV we are talking about here...

He used Transworld's dynos, which read about 5HP higher than everyone else's, because that was the most complete set he could find at the time. I believe this applies to the 125's as well. The 250's and 450's I think are from MotoUSA, or MotorcycleUSA, some gibberish like that. If we all beg nicely maybe we can get JLV to update all the bikes to the MotoUSA dynos and do away with the Transworld bikes all together. :)

Or wait until next summer for that hillbilly dyno he promised us and all lend him our bikes to record sounds and get accurate performance readings. :P Ahh if only......

I was actually bored one day at work and made a dyno chart based off that article. Look:

Holy crap the power dies even within 1 grand of 8. I think you'll be able to ride these things fast, but you'll have to keep a close eye on the rpm's to do so (or get used to the sound). I haven't ridden a full lap on them yet, I'll test them out more after the race tonight.

Going from one bike in this game to another never has felt so good, premix to premix is much better than premix to that dry burning stuff.
