I dont know if anyone asked this but what is it with the stock tires turning like this (the Rmz on the background)

when going farther, is it because of lods?
noticed it today in online, idk if it does it with all wheels (or for everybody), but atleast IMO it looks weird and kinda ugly...

damit, i found out that i had something set up for massive online game play, not just regular cruise (on my grafix setup)
but its still kinda weird that it turns the wheels like that, i know it should lover the detail since i had lovered my model details a bit, but thats just weird to me ...never done it before

ive noticed that too. even when i have the graphics all the way up. not nearly that bad though, usually just a little where the rim and tire meet.

Maybe I have the same problem. I have my textures maxed and on 512 res, and even at mediocre distances there is really obvious blurring of the textures.

You don't need to make a new shortcut every time, just rename it to mx.exe. The original shortcut will still work.

I think its because the ground textures are rendered to a resolution based on how far away from the camera they are, whereis every other texture uses lower detail mip maps which are adjusted in order to allow 1 texture pixel = 1 frame pixel. This is why the ground stays blurry when you zoom in, but the rest of the textures stay sharp.
