Is the goal to have 40+ plus riders trying to make mains per class?
To me a better goal is to give MORE riders the chance to race Main events, gain points for a championship, and so forth...

In order to insure that we definitely will have 20 rider main events, we need at least 30 people trying for each class. When we have 40 riders trying for the main event, there's more competition and it makes for better racing in the mains, imo.Sweendoggy wrote:Is the goal to have 40+ plus riders trying to make mains per class?

Yeah, I'd like that. Essentially having the 250 class be more so like the B class. Not necassarily all B riders but where if you score points in the 450 class, you cannot move down to the 250 class to race. I'd think that would make good racing in the 450's, and still give alot of other riders a chance. I can see the downsides to this though.

Im trying to race 250F's still lol.
Here's what I hope happens.
250F SX (All Rounds)
450F SX (All Rounds)
2 Stroke class ( 1 Main after the final SX main that night)
I dont know about splitting coasts just for the reason of more people trying to ride 450's . This way we all can still do 2 classes and it wont be much longer. Either way im fine though if we split it up or not. I just cant wait for this series to start!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like Shack's idea, besides the part that I wouldn't be able to ride the 125.

OR Europeans can race SMA and we can both have a full series.

Majority of these ideas sound really good but, What happens if a few top riders want to ride a 125s or 250f's instead of the 450's. They cant drop to B grade because they will dominate.

Ride a 125 or 250F in the 450 class. In real life, it's 122cc to 650cc in amateur events, and pretty sure you can ride anything up to a 450 with 2mm bore or stroke in the SX class.

Picture doesn't work, but I'm assuming that you will ride the 125 in the 450 class. You are of a dying breed. Is MOY paying you to stay on the two-stroke like YOT did Metcalfe?

Hmm it' works for me, it's the challenge accepted guy.
Unless laptime are like 5 seconds faster than what I can do on a 125 I'll run it in the 450's yeah.
Oh, and I wish
. Just need to do the four stroke for one race to make it up to jlv from Pala.
